My everyday dessert! Yes, chocolate. I found it funny when people refer to healthy living as something boring. There are a lot of recipes that makes you feel full, food that are yummy and not always the same. Dark chocolate is my favorite dessert, I love it and has a lot of benefits: 


  • The first one and my fav is that you just need a small piece that stop your cravings and will make you feel full. Researchers have found that dark chocolate is more filling and offers a more "satisfied feeling". This is why by eating it you can lessens your cravings for sweet.
  • It's good for your health. Eating a small amount of dark chocolate can hep lower your blood pressure
  • Another amazing benefit dark chocolate has is that it increases blood flow to the brain and heart, which can help improve cognitive function. Also, it contains PEA that's the same chemical your brain creates when you're feeling in love, also it encourages endorphins segregation.
  • Dark chocolate can prevent diabetes. Yes, like I mentioned it help to lower your blood pressure you it improves your circulation and keep your blood vessels healthy. Also, dark chocolate won't cause spikes in blood sugar levels.
  • It has a lot of antioxidants. Antioxidants help your body to free it of free radicals, this are and oxidative damage to your cells, so it help to your aging process as well to prevent some kinds of cancer.
  • Its high in vitamins and minerals like: potassium, copper, magnesium and iron. This can prevent against stroke, anemia and heart disease.

This are some of the amazing benefits dark chocolate has. It's a delicious dessert and very healthy. So whoever said healthy eating was boring, didn't know about the benefits a small piece of chocolate can have.
