WHY YOU SHOULDN'T DIET

Should I go on a diet? Well, you shouldn't do strict diets, the ones that make you feel hungry all the time, the ones that just let you eat certain kind of food. This are not good diets. What should you do then? Well, you should have a HEALTHY AND BALANCE NUTRITION. Here are some reasons why you shouldn't starve yourself:


1. Weight loss is not always a good indicator of health: losing weight can be good but that doesn't mean you're being healthy. Starving yourself can cause long-term health problems. This is where the famous "rebound" comes in. Keep a good nutrition, that's the key. You can even gain weight but that doesn´t mean you´re getting "fatter", maybe you're just gaining muscles and burning fat and that's a good thing.

2. Keeping you away from some food it's a no: some people have told me that they cut off meat, cheese, carbs and stuff like that and they're doing it just for a month or a period of 3 weeks. BE CAREFUL. Your body is so smart and can react different. If you stop eating a a certain kind of food for a long period your body can get used to it and when you try to eat it again it can respond the other way and won´t process it the same way it used to. There have been cases of people who avoid specific food and that result in just being allergic to them because their body was used to "clean eating". Eat clean, stay fit and have a burger to stay sane.

3. Diets can make you gain weight: As I said, our bodies are so smart that when you don't give them the amount of food that it needs, your body starts to reserves the few carbs and fats you give it. Everything you do requires energy, so if you don't eat correctly you will start feeling tired and your body will respond. It will keep "in stock" the carbs and fat you eat. This is because you don't have enough nutrients to keep you energizing so your body will respond by keeping the few things you eat. This is why sometimes diets can make you "fatter" because you're only absorbing the few nutrients you eat and then you star absorbing fats and carbs.
